9 Pedagogical Method Had Successfully Disseminated Through The 2nd INDOPED International Webinar

The 2nd INDOPED International Webinar was officially conducted on 13th to 15th November 2017 live from SEAMOLEC Office in Jakarta. The webinar was opened on Monday 13th November 2017 by Deputy Director for Administration of SEAMOLEC Drs. Yoni Utomo, M.Ed., Head of INDOPED Project, Mr. Harri Lappalainen, and Director of Learning and Student Affairs of Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education, Indonesia Dr. Paristiyanti Nurwardani. There were 9 pedagogical methods implemented by 5 Indonesian University partners which escorted by 5 European Universitiy partners. The webinar was attended by more than 400 educational personels, teachers, and lecturers coming from Southeast Asian countries. It has been joint program between SEAMOLEC and INDOPED Project since 2015.

On the first day of webinar, moderated by Deputy Director for Program of SEAMOLEC Mr. Ith Vuthy, M.Sc., more than 200 participants joined sharing sessions of Assessment Rubric delivered by Inholland University and Binus International University; Gamification method delivered by Uniwersytet Gdański, Universitas Katolik Widya Mandala Surabaya, and Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta; and Project Module delivered by Turku University of Applied Science (TUAS), and Binus International University.

On the second day of 2nd INDOPED International Webinar, participants had a fruitful sharing sessions about Project Hatchery delivered by TUAS, Binus International University, Syiah Kuala University, and Yogyakarta State University. The sessions were followed by presentation of Learning by Teaching and Learning to Learn method. Moderated by Mr. Dona Octanary, participants who were coming from Indonesia and Southeast Asian countries, joined the webinar enthusiastically.

Finally, another 3 pedagogy methods were completely presented by European and Indonesian university partners on 15 November 2017. Moderated by Ms. Aline Almandha, participants enjoyed sharing session about Learning by Case method presented by Universidad de Sevilla, Universitas Katolik Widya Mandala Surabaya, Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta; Innovation Camp method presented by Business Academy Aarhus and Binus International University; and Storytelling method presented by Universidad de Sevilla and Yogyakarta State University.

The 3 days webinar was officially closed by Research and Development Manager Ms. Cahya K. Ratih by the end of the presentation. The closing speech was conveyed from Expert of Academic Affairs of Ministry of Research Technology and Higher Education, Indonesia Prof. Paulina Pannen was delivered by Ms. Cahya. “Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education welcomes the presence of these learning models which is expected will be able in changing the paradigm and face of college learning in Indonesia. Since learning has been the heart of higher education, the successful learning will significantly impacted to the success of higher education institutions, and higher education in general,” said Ms. Paulina in her speech.
