SEAMEO Awardees

YM Tengku Datin Seri Marsilla Tengku Abdullah, the wife of H E Dato’ Seri Hishammuddin bin Tun Hussein, gave out the plagues of recognition to Dani Purnama Hermawan (SEAMOLEC Training Officer In 2008, Mr. Dani Purnama Hermawan, SEAMOLEC Training Officer, is one of the recipient of SEAMEO Service Award. In collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Malaysia, the welcome and introduction session was held for all the awardees after the Opening Ceremony of the 43rd SEAMEO Council Conference at the Mandarin Oriental in Kuala Lumpur. Dr Tinsiri Siribodhi, Deputy Director for Administration and Communication of the SEAMEO Secretariat, welcomed and congratulated the awardees. A SEAMEO video presentation followed. The SEAMEO Service Awardees shared their own valued experiences contributed to the organization during the session. The ceremony was closed by group Photo and then SEAMEO Service Awardees visiting the places of interest in Putrajaya and Malacca, Malaysia. The Awards announcement and the plaques presentation of 2007/2008 SEAMEO Service Awards were convened during the welcome dinner of the 43rd SEAMEO Council Conference at the Mandarin Oriental in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 13 March 2008.
