MANAGEMENT OF UT

As other university, a Rector manages the university assisted by four vice Rector: Vice Rector for Academic Affair, Vice rector for finance and general administration, vice rector for student and operational affairs, and vice rector for institutional development and cooperation. The rector consults University senate in making very important decision. Four deans manage the four existing faculties.

Within UT organization there are two institutes, the namely the institute of research and community, Services and the institute of learning materials, examinations, and information systems.

Since UT uses distance education system and the student are dispersed in 26 provinces, UT establishes regional offices/centers known as UPBJJ located in all provinces throughout the country. Regional Centers are responsible for student recruitment and registration, conduct of face-to-face tutorials and examinations, as well as other administrative matters.
