HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT
In human resource development, SEAMEO SEAMOLEC refers to one of its functions is to provide trainings in the development and practice of open and distance learning systems. This function is in line with an effort to support education for all, and flexible and life-long learning, to provide advice and information on the system and the techniques for implementing open and distance education, to conduct research and to share expertise. In implementing the function, SEAMEO SEAMOLEC has its core training activities. They are:
- Instructional design for open and distance education.
- Planning and management of open and distance education.
- Student support services in open and distance education mode.
- Use and integration of ICT in open and distance education.
- Web-based course development.
- Utilization of internet for instruction.
- Preparing tutorial for open and distance education.
- Self-learning materials development.
- Student support system.
- Needs assessment
The trainings range from a two-day ones to three month-ones, and they are conducted in both face-to-face and in distance training.
