Master Teacher Training on Waste Hero

SEAMEO Regional Centre for Sufficiency Economy Philosophy for Sustainability (SEAMEO SEPS) and Indorama Ventures PCL (IVL), in partnership with UNESCO Multisectoral Regional Office in Bangkok, Yunus Thailand Foundation, Southeast Asia One Health University Network, SEAMEO Secretariat, and SEAMEO Regional Open Learning Centre (SEAMOLEC) would like to invite you to join the Waste Hero: Reduce to Zero Master Teacher Training for Indonesian Teachers on Sunday 23 July 2023

For Kindergarten and Primary School Teachers

This Master Teacher Training aims to: 

  • To empower kindergarten, primary, secondary and vocational & technical school teachers in Southeast Asian countries to have understanding in waste management and circular economy and be able to create the lesson plan and apply the Waste Hero educational materials in the classroom activities and co-curriculum programmes,
  • To build awareness of students on environmental issues, waste management, and circular economy, and take ACTIVE actions in saving environment in their schools, families and communities, and 
  • To share and exchange ideas, creativities and best practices in Waste Hero Actions and Circular Economy among schools, teachers and students of Southeast Asian communities

 

Who Can Join?

  • Teachers of kindergarten, primary, secondary, and vocational & technical schools
  • Participants should have interest in waste management, climate change, and environmental education 
  • Good command in English language 
  • Have appropriate IT equipment and WIFI for the participation in the online training session by zoom or youtube.  
  • Commitment to submit the Post-Training Report to SEAMEO SEPS after 1 month of their participation in the training course.

Deadline for registration: 15 July 2023

 

e-Certificate of Completion will be provided to all trainees who (1) attend the whole training session, (2) submit the Training Session Evaluation which its link will be presented at the end of the training session, and (3) submit the Post-Training Report to SEAMEO SEPS after 1 month of training.
